Sringeri and Mangalore

i like to take decisions lately or say suddenly. the same thing happened three days back. i was in office till 8.30pm, and suddenly i thought i will goto sringeri. (actually the plan of going there was pending from many days in the mind) fine, i called up the aunt in sringeri (a near by village near sringeri) and told her i may come to their home. fine, after that left office at around 9pm and went home. my sister wanted to take a picture of her son and mail the photo to her sister-in-law who is in usa. i had to take the pictures, download it and send that. after that had dinner and told everyone that i will goto sringeri (it was around 10pm then). as usual they told ok. i packed up my luggage, went out of the home. it was raining like hell. no umbrella in our house. but i decided to stick to the decision. so, ran to near by bus stand (some 100-150mts) by then i was little wet. i asked those guys and they told bus to sringeri just left. i caught a auto and reached ksrtc bus stand. there also there were no direct buses to sringeri. i caught a bus to chickmagalur, and from there went to sringeri.
i liked this trip especially because i was alone most of the time. on saturday went and saw sringeri temple. on sunday morning left early from aunt's house and caught a bus to karkala and from there went to m'lore. after going there, met paddu and had lunch in their home only. later in evening went to beach. it was nice fun. after coming back, had icecream in pabba's. left m'lore around 10pm.
totally to summarise it was surely a nice trip. travelled more than 800kms in 2.5 days.

Been to this place today. It was Mensa India, Bangalore chapter first event after renewal. 15 mensans turned up. I missed Guru's company over there. It was a nice trip. Those rock hills are very steep, in fact one of the steepest paths I have seen while trekk. Nice trip.. photos and further details later.

kerala

Been to kerala this weekend. Not for any trip, it was for collegue's wedding. Been there for just one day (less than 12 hours). His place is very near to Vagamon area. Its a great place. Surely will go there some time soon. Covered by greenary everywhere.
Nothing much special about it other than saying it was my first Kerala trip.

jog falls

This weekend I had been to JogFalls. It was great. Went to my native with Avati, Gururaj, Pramod, Jithamithra. It was surely a nice trip. Enjoyed every moment of it. Was quite busy these days, so badly needed a break. Surely this was a great break. Been to Gerusoppa Falls also

Hampi

Been to Hampi last Saturday (16.07.2005). A great place. It was vast. I was very much thrilled by seeing the place, at the same time felt bad also as most of the things are destroyed. Actually one needs atleast two days to see it completely. We didn't knew this before, so planned only one day trip. But anyway covered all the places there (not satisfied yet, may go there again)

Trip to chickmagalur

It was nice trip. went to chickmagalur on saturday morning. Went to Hebbe falls through coffee estates's mud road. The jeep was going like a bullock cart. Had a nice time in hebbe falls, later went to Kemmannu gundi. Its a nice place. As no guest house was available, came back to chickmagalur and stayed in a lodge there. In night had a nice party with smirnoff, God actually became fan of smirnoff ;-)
Next day, ie on Sunday(24/04/05) went to Belur/Halebeedu. They are really a great piece of work. After seeing the temple there, went to a forest guest house called 'malaya marutha' at the beginning (at end to people coming from down) of Charmudi Ghat. That place was amazing. Too good. As every time I feel, felt so small in front of Nature. Nature is surely great. In night, we (me, Pammu and God[Prasad]) discussed a lot on future life, relationship and as usual girls :-P The discussions were at a high level (intelectually). Later got a bus to B'lore and came back to b'lore.

Shramaadhaana

Yesterday had been to Goloka, of Sri Ramachandrapura mata for shramaadhaana (literal meaning "Donating work"), Lot of physical work after many days. We did work like typical formers (which we are originally). Whole body was paining after the work. Took two days for getting back to normal state. Had a nice weekend
